Introduction

By using the Category dictionary, you can define a multi-level product classification structure.
At each level of the Category, it is possible to define attributes - fields that the user will fulfill when a given category is assigned to a product.
The defined attributes will enable the detailed description of the product with its features.

 

To insert a Category or a Subcategory:

Go to Menu   and then   .

In the new tab click   and fulfill the form. Field Name is required to be fulfilled with the Category name. For example „Shoes”.  You can add "S" symbol with this Category. Now in the tab, click    . In the Category tab, you can see "Shoes" has been successfully added.

To add a Subcategory:

Click the Category you want to add a Subcategory in, then click again  . 

For example, name your subcategory Men's shoes. As the symbol use "MS". 

No you can see, field „Category Parent” has been fulfilled automatically.

Now in the tab, click    and you can see "Men's shoes" subcategory under "Shoes" subcategory, in the Categories tab.

Now try to add 2 subcategories: Women's Shoes” and „Children's Shoes” under main Category "Shoes".
Following the steps above, click the Category you want to add Subcategory in, and then click  . Fulfill „Name” with"Women's Shoes" and field "symbol" with „WM” and click  .  Follow exact same steps for „Children's Shoes” subcategory.

Product subcategory can have their own subcategories as well.
To add subcategory to "Women’s Shoes", „Heels” subcategory, in Categories tab, choose subcategory „Women's Shoes” and click  . 
Fulfill „name” with "Heels” and symbol field with „H” and click  .

Now, you can see "Hells" subcategory under "Women's Shoes" subcategory, in the Categories tab.

You can create as many main categories/subcategories as you want.

 

To delete a Category or a Subcategory:

 Go to Menu   and then   .

From Categories tree, choose a category/subcategory you want to delete, click this category/subcategory and then  
In the new tab click   and
